Consisting of mostly high school students with a few youngsters added to the mix, the troupe of nearly 30 actors is preparing to bring to audiences its second production, "A Midsummer Night's Dream."

Foshay added the atmosphere between the actors and actresses is one of comfort, of sibling like love.
Tickets to the show cost $5. Proceeds will benefit the CareNet Pregnancy Center of Burlington. Crouch said last year someone came up with the idea to donate money raised to a nonprofit, and the group chose CareNet again this time around.
The group rents the church for its weekly class meetings and was given the chance to utilize its platform as a stage.

He added the actors are all pretty confident people, having been taught to speak publicly over the years. Postlewaite doesn't get stage fright; he said he doesn't have the energy for it.
Crouch's son Matthew, 17, along with Zach Postlewaite, 17, of Charlotte, and Olivia Foshay, 18, of Bridport, are proud of their work bringing plays to life.
The play features about seven non homeschooled actors, as the Quest group students' friends have joined in the fun. In total about 27 performers will hit the stage March 27, 28 and 29 at Living Hope Church in Williston.
"To get a 14 year old to memorize Shakespeare is one thing," Paroline said; to recite it in a way the audience can understand and appreciate is another.

From the sidelines they laughed and joked, but on stage for rehearsal March 10, the Quest Shakespearean Theater group was all business.
The students themselves spoke about the play, in costumes and stocking clad feet, before jumping into character.
Actually taking the stage offers the students a chance to step out of their comfort zone, in a safe place around their friends, Paroline said. The mothers added they have seen in the children growth in leadership skills, confidence and the ability to project their voices.
The young actors also said their close connection with one another ensures the drama stays on the stage they all get along.
Tutors from the University of Vermont and parents with certain areas of expertise lead classes each Thursday and assignments are doled out. Crouch and fellow mom Linda Paroline of Essex said this serves as a nice supplement to their at home Hogan Sneakers Silver teaching.
Reading Shakespeare helped with the kids' history and literature studies, Crouch said, and got them excited to learn more.
